Taxonomy Nesting Blocks

Project created to familiarize a child with the
taxonomic classification system
through illustrations and words on nesting building blocks.
Wooden nesting blocks, found printed illustrations, created text, and acrylic paint.
Text and illustrations and words were printed with an ink jet printer then transferred onto wooden blocks using PVA glue transfer technique. Acrylic paint was then applied to enhance or highlight areas of the illustrations.
